LCD projectors are all the rage these days when it comes to giving presentations. Whether for a corporate board meeting, an academic project or a church program, LCD projectors are becoming more and more popular. These machines are actually cheaper than digital light processing (DLP) projectors. But while LCD technology is less advances than DLP, they do provide the kind of functionality and capability that you will want in a projector. When you're out looking for an LCD projector, you'll want to consider brightness, particularly if you plan to use the projector in large rooms that will necessitate that the projector have a bright light source.

When it comes to buying an LCD projector, you'll also want to consider issues relating to resolution. It makes no sense, for instance, to buy a unit that won't clearly show the information you want to convey. So be sure that the resolution will clearly display pertinent information. If, for instance, you typically use small fonts or use graphs, you will need a projector that is able to present an accurate rendering of this information so that those viewing the presentation won't have any difficulty making out what is being projected onto the screen.
