Attaching your projector to the ceiling

If you're looking for a projector that can stay in the same location without having to be carted around, then an overhead projector is a good choice. Overhead projectors can also be a good choice if, say, you are setting it up in a school auditorium and don't want a whole lot of little hands to play with it. Installing a projector overhead, quite simply, is a good way to keep it out of harm's way. So if you don't plan to take around your projector, you don't necessarily need one of those small, lightweight, portable models. An overhead projector would do the trick just fine.

According to the experts, there are two types of overhead projectors. Transmissive projectors have a bulb at the base of the unit whereas reflective projectors have a light source at the top of the unit. The former is typically more luminous than the latter. But both are robust enough to meet your needs if you're in the market for an overhead projector.
